—The Method
Growth starts with
understanding
the system.
Before we test a new message, channel, or campaign, Growth Lab examines the conditions that determine whether marketing can perform.
—Part One
Set up the lab
01
Establish the Baseline
Before recommending solutions, we examine how growth actually happens in your organization today. That includes your team structure and capabilities, tech stack, current processes, marketing investments, sales motion, customer data, and performance reporting. We identify where work is breaking down, where visibility is limited, and where the greatest opportunities exist.
The goal is to replace assumptions with a clear, shared view of reality.
02
Connect the System
Marketing performance is rarely a marketing-only issue. Growth Lab aligns marketing with the teams and functions that shape revenue: sales, customer success, product, finance, and leadership.
Together, we clarify the sales process, buyer journey, handoffs, ownership, and definitions that influence pipeline and revenue.
We identify the metrics that matter at each stage—the signals that show whether marketing is creating meaningful business impact.
03
Create the Conditions to Learn
Good experiments require more than good ideas. They require clean data, clear goals, defined ownership, and processes the team can actually follow. Before testing begins, we put the right operating structure in place: transparent workflows, reporting rhythms, decision criteria, budget visibility, and repeatable execution processes.
That foundation ensures experiments produce useful learning, not just activity.
Once the foundation is clear, we use a disciplined learning loop to turn insight into action and action into repeatable growth.

The Growth Lab Learning Loop
-
Every initiative starts with a specific, evidence-based belief. A strong hypothesis defines what we believe, why we believe it, and what result would validate it.
If we refine our positioning for a particular buyer segment, we expect to improve qualified conversion because sales calls and customer feedback show our current message does not clearly connect to their highest-priority problem.
-
We design focused, responsible tests around the variables most likely to affect the outcome: audience, message, offer, channel, campaign, sales enablement, or process.
Each experiment has a clear purpose, scope, timeline, owner, and success criteria. We do not test simply to stay busy. We test to answer a meaningful business question.
-
We evaluate results against the metrics established at the start. Did the experiment improve conversion, pipeline quality, sales velocity, engagement, or retention?
What did the data say? What did sales, customers, and the team observe? Measurement is where activity becomes knowledge.
-
When the evidence supports it, we scale what works—expanding campaigns, applying messages across channels, investing more confidently in proven programs, formalizing successful processes.
Just as importantly, we stop, refine, or redirect what is not working. Scaling means making smarter decisions about where to place the next dollar, hour, and effort.
With the research complete and the foundation in place, we move from observation to action.
The Method is designed to make growth more deliberate.
The result is more than a stronger marketing program. It’s an organization that knows how to learn, turning evidence into confident decisions and repeatable growth.
